Messages Hidden from Congress Reveal Anti-Trump FBI Official Was Close Friends with Judge In Mike Flynn Case

Conservatives were outraged when they learned about the text messages that showed an FBI agent who was involved with the investigations into both Hillary and Trump texting his mistress about how he hated Trump and was out to get him.

From Fox News:

Newly revealed texts between Trump-bashing FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page show the “fix was in” during Hillary Clinton’s email probe in 2016, Republican lawmakers say.

The latest batch of text messages between Strzok and Page, who were involved romantically, revealed their private conversations regarding Clinton — and their concern about being too tough on her during the investigation into her private email system use. The text messages indicate they were wary of a backlash from Clinton if she were to win the presidential election.

“It doesn’t appear anyone wanted her charged,” House Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

Now, we are learning even more troubling information about disgraced FBI official Peter Strzok.

From The Federalist:

Newly discovered text messages obtained by The Federalist reveal two key federal law enforcement officials conspired to meet with the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) judge who presided over the federal case against Michael Flynn. The judge, Rudolph Contreras, was recused from handling the case just days after accepting the guilty plea of President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser who was charged with making false statements to federal investigators.

The text messages about Contreras between controversial Department of Justice lawyer Lisa Page and Peter Strzok, the top Federal Bureau of Investigation counterintelligence official who was kicked off Robert Mueller’s special counsel team, were deliberately hidden from Congress, multiple congressional investigators told The Federalist. In the messages, Page and Strzok, who are rumored to have been engaged in an illicit romantic affair, discussed Strzok’s personal friendship with Contreras and how to leverage that relationship in ongoing counterintelligence matters.

Looks like he was buddies with the Flynn judge as well.

How ridiculous has this situation gotten? The fix was clearly in to let Hillary off the hook. The fix was clearly in to try and keep Trump from the White House.

At what point is enough enough?

The American people deserve answers and people need to be held accountable for this egregious abuse of power.

It’s time to appoint a second special counsel to get to the bottom of all the different ways the government betrayed the country in 2016.

From Fox News:

Four Republican senators are calling for the appointment of a second special counsel to investigate the Department of Justice and FBI’s actions in the Russia probe before Special Counsel Robert Mueller took over.

In a letter sent Thursday to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, the lawmakers wrote that “a special counsel is needed to work with the inspector general to independently gather the facts and make prosecutorial decisions, if any are merited.”

The four senators are Judiciary Committee chairman Chuck Grassley of Iowa; South Carolina’s Lindsey Graham; Texas’ John Cornyn; and North Carolina’s Thom Tillis.

The senators also released a version of Grassley and Graham’s criminal referral earlier this year for Christopher Steele — the ex-British spy and author of the infamous Trump dossier — revealing for the first time the basis for the referral.

Your move, AG Sessions.
